diy bedroom design inspiration
we are here today with cricut and hayneedle all and they're amazing furniture and cricut's amazing product and we are styling a space and making a whole bunch of personalized product we've come together to create sort of a room not necessarily make over the room collaboration to create it from scratch we've joined together as five different people
with five different backgrounds five different styles to sort of create a complete the look that we think would appeal to a lot of different people as we were setting up to design the room we started with the beautiful furniture from hayneedle and i think the furniture that we chose to use already had a nice rustic industrial vibe so that was one
of our stepping off point well and then the paint really brought it all together because that's where that the color came from we use those beautiful saturated colors from color house yes and we just kind of they blended really well together the colors are really rich i kind of love the way than
a color flow down to the canvas and yeah only the reload and what makes the greens and blues browns, taupe's, ivory's, green's on the very for the very base as that kind of warm and cozy feeling and even though it's kind of its romantic room there's a lot of floral elements it's still not something like a husband with totally should like to order only
very rarely go out at the next hour hard got ya with it being a bedroom suite and a lot of times you know you're sharing at that room with someone else that you do have to combine different styles and not let you know one person style take over the room or even the house and without being wait, your husband gets a say?
not really, but i've transitioned him to like my style. you really like this i promise! no, but i also think that it you know like even us here today one of our styles could overtake on the road i i'm ready allowing our styles come together we did come together we did get to know each other's personalities that we did become friends and our styles and
really match and we did just meet each other and yeah i would say my favorite project i diy today was i did a canvass and i use this really pretty gold vinyl to cut out and make a flower and then i put it on the painted surfaces in the room colors i cut out some fun iron gate pattern and put that on my nightstand and then painted it and remove the
stencil and there you don't have my cute design very cute i'm in love with metallic foil like in love i may end up spoiling my entire house but i also had a lot of fun playing with the faux leather and adding the pearls to my pillow on top of the leather we kind of learned and just kind of playing with other materials that i don't typically
play with help yeah i was definitely the wall installation the roses i think i again i'm just drawn to more 3d dimensional art is still our piece but it's different from the angular campus the piece that i did that i like the best today was just probably the simplest
piece in the room which is the circle on my canvas and i just painted the canvas and kind of balance or both and so overlock them all so beautiful my first experience with cricket was actually very recently as of like a year ago and i kind of fell into it always been doing home decor and i fun and i could make all this home decor stuff you don't have
it cut right for you and it was so user-friendly and i could you write from my phone actually and so it's just one of those things i fell into that like this even the person who doesn't really consider themselves creative can easily duplicate anything that they find that cricket and in these design spaces one thing we're doing today is were using
patterns right off the site i mean we're not having anything extra special so these are things that are so accessible for everybody to do and anyone can create their right and cricut design gallery and it's just pretty much plug-and-play right yeah right exactly play well in one of my favorite things is when friends or family come over and
they go oh my gosh that is so cute where did you get that and i get to go i didn't buy that, i made that! i love that!
