pink vintage bedroom ideas
i don't welcome to my very colorfulliving room i we bought this out a year and a half ago and we have spentthe last year and a half like rapinoe ripping down feelings rewiring rippingoff all this disgusting plast award of paneling and just being what's behindyou and we could do and this is one of the first actually completed rooms thatwe've had so i wanted to do a quick tour and not very good at videos and i'm notvery good at editing so i'm going to do most of the talking here and then i'mgoing to show different sections when i put it all together so fingers cross itwill work so first of all i want to start off with the neil
i just really have a vision that iwanted anything on like in the room and i looked around and i've toyed with theidea of kind of making my own spoke on with a company or buying one that wasreally made a lot that already made felt a bit cheap and fashioned ii they werekind of like a 30 to 50 pounds they were kind of like just a heart or just awatermelon they felt very they felt their own now and they didn't feel verychic and they felt a little bit young and teenager ii so i kind of avoidedthem i ended up going with one from a company called loving which is gone noton the high street and it says we should have something cool here which i thoughtwas really fun and i love the reference
to artwork because my degree is actuallyin fine art and i thought yeah that's really cool i really liked it umdarkbloom i want and i think it's at 500 panels another i think it's really cooland also we we had discovered behind always discussing paneling we actuallyhave a brick wall so we painted a frightful bright pink and i thought yeslet's have a neon side and it's very cool and go over that so just underneaththe i'm keep looking at my nails like i just doesn't need the neon sign we'vegot a sideboard which is an all circus and record player which is with innerthigh board we found it in a local vintage shop ithink it's about 150 pounds it was
actually working and playing the musicoff it when we found it so i bought that gracious and it actually works which isquite rare a lot of these things that still work it's got a little wear andtear er with it but you know it's i think it's 1950s 1960s something likethat and it's great condition and love that i think it's really cool such agood investment if i ever get bored of it i know i can sell it for that or moreand on top of it we put porcelain cacti which the bigger one from a local tomatowill try and find a link and then the similar ones i've got that 3/2 overthere and one over there which we'll see later and they were three for 15 poundsmy kiyah
and my lap is from being cute i didn'teven know they did lighting we went in to buy some building supplies andprobably a crowbar or something and i saw it and it was like 9 pounds and iwas like i'm having it we live in a building site but i'm having thatbecause when the roof start i think it'll look pretty cool i love the shadeof pink justin with a great design i thought we got really my fringe ofthings lynwood i thought about the great piece did that puts over that and thenfurther on in the room we've got another big sideboard judges again vintage forit much bigger we got on ebay i think my boyfriend found he paid alittle bit more for it was about 300
pounds they need to be really cheap andthey recently become very fashionable and therefore quite expensive but eventhough it was 300 i think in west elm they're more like 5 600 so we still madea good saving on and i love about the advantage vintage all the way for me so i really love it it's great the girlswork really well covers stores work really well really happy with it on topwe put like an egg timer which i just thought was really fun really cool to mypiece and then we've got a key set and a lamp the logic from feather on black iwill try remember link it below on the other side we have justin bookpiled up because this is going to be
like kind of quite social area for likefriends and guests who want to come stay so i wanted them to kind of be able topick up a book and have had a flick through either coffee table book or somekind of funny ablative book just that you can kind of pick up and whip throughand have some fun with also a lot of people seem to comment on when with mylemon bar which i got from george and after it was actually part of thecampaign for a blog post but i think it looks 16 pounds something um so greatgreat value and i think they still do it because whenever i tweet a picturepeople always like i do this install the other day so it's still about it
then if we move around the room you getto see my because i wrestle focus pencil um i got it i got it from ikea i thoughtit was brilliant it was actually in the children's section and no and alex is sofunny and so cool and i put it in our trolley and a lot of boyfriendsinstantly sit down i'm just trying to put it over so my boyfriend instantlytook it out of the trolley and was like no it's cool it's a big giant pencilquestion we need this and he was like no we were about that anargument when i suddenly went no this is great and i put in the trolley a bigbasketball which was similar and had put in a big cloud like it was a gianttennis ball or something you will
believe weird shapes i really wanted thepenis' bowl and eventually we kind of settled on can i just have one and hesaid yes so of course i put back the other ones and kept the pencil pencilthing anywhere i wanted but that is generally my technique for anything thati want that's a bit weird and my boyfriend says no i go bigger and thenwe compromise on smaller version which is generally the one wanted anyway whichis exactly what we did with water they yellow and pink originally it said tohim that i wanted each wall a different color or pastel and he said no so i saidokay we'll do two walls paint two or zero and he said okay that sounds likeuseful so now everybody helps me like
how did you convince your boyfriend iwas like easily messes that's a good story and then i'll circlewe actually got from wall to york we got on sale it was like 70% off it is themost comfortable thing in the world and i accessorize it with cushions fromnext which one you're happy with but yeah kind of theroom in a nutshell we've got and that we've got vintage coffee table from ikeai've got some cute coffee table walk from like coach blanket from bowdenwhich is yellow and gray i wanted everything in here to kind ofhave a very clean fresh fun modern feel so well we've got been to resorts got alot of new stuff well we've got a lot of
pink and yellow we've also got a lot ofgray's just to kind of offset it i didn't want it to be too young and ididn't want to seem too childish but i definitely wanted it to be like reallycolorful and really fun so we've tried to kind of really mix the colors withthe more kind of grown-up creams and grades and then we try to make all theobjects in here quite designee like we've got the egg timer we've got somereally she glanced really like elegant tea set so it kind of mixes the kind ofyoung and of fun with also being quite elegant balooand also another thing you can probably see the radiator in the corneri hate radiators i think they're really
