how to make a beautiful room decor birds craft this birds craft is made using plaster of paris (pop), sand and plastic pipe. plastic grass and artificial birds are stuck on it to give more natural look. the water drop effect is achieved by using a hot glue gun. things you need... terracotta pot or earthen pot, newspaper, cardboard pipe, plastic water tap, ruler, fevicol glue, cutter, scissors, glue gun acrylic colors & brushes, sand, stones, mount board, plaster of paris, decorative plastic grass, artificial birds take a mount board, fix the earthen pot, cardboard pipe and the plastic water tap as shown. first cut the cardboard pipe to fix the tap into it.
now take the plastic pipe and apply glue over it. fix it in the cut out cardboard pipe. now paste this arrangement on the mount board as shown here. paste the earthen pot near the cardboard pipe arrangement. now draw the pattern on the mount board as shown. cut it along the drawn outline. cut out some newspaper pieces as shown here. mix plaster of paris and water in a plastic bowl. dab the newspaper in this plaster of paris solution and place it at the base. allow it to dry completely. apply glue on the entire arrangement.
now pour some sand at the base to stick on the plaster of paris surface. this is how the arrangement looks now. now color the arrangement using different colors as shown here. first of all we will paint the pipe with green acrylic color. now paint the water tap with black color. paint some portion on the base of the arrangement as well to represent algae/scum use a dry brush for texture painting using metallic colors. now arrange the stones inside the earthen pot as shown. paste some stones on the outer surface as well to give it a realistic look.
paste some artificial grass and leaves on the surface of this craft as shown. now use glue gun to create the effect of water from the tap in the process shown here. apply the wood finish oil on the stones and the earthen pot for a shining effect. paste the stone son the surface of the earthen pot. paste the artificial birds as well as shown here. now pour water into the earthen ware for a realistic look. wow!! your amazing home decor is now ready. thanks for watching and happy crafting!
