simple gingerbread house decorating ideas
hi friends! i'm stephanie and here at wilton it's the best time of year it's the holiday season now we have tonsof great projects coming your way but today we have a project that combinestwo of my favorite things the holidays and sprinkles we are going combine those two and make a sprinkle gingerbread house we are going to usethe pre-assembled house kit. this kit is perfect because the house is alreadyassembled, so you don't have to take the time and put the pieces together and wait for themto dry now the kit also comes with the icing so you don't have to make that hasa bag a tip and candy and also little santa you can add to your house at theend
alright let's do it. to begin we're goingto use piping gel we're going to spread it on a half of the roof right here nowyou wanna make sure you get it on the full half of the roof becasue any partthat doesn't have piping gel the sprinkles won't stick to the next partof our project can get a little messy were gonna put the sprinkles on thepiping gel to keep it clean i recommend putting your gingerbread house on abaking sheet that has a side to it this way any of the sprinkles that fall youcan keep the use again later now that we have the whole side coveredand lightly press those sprinkles and make sure they stay in place. i'm gonna go aheadand do the same exact thing to the
other side of my roof and i'm gonna doit to all four sides of the house of add your icing into the bag and we're readyto start piping. to begin we're going to divide the roof into fours. i'm gonna dothat by adding a little dots and i'm going to connect the dots using ofscallop motion for the next row i'm just gonna stagger the scallops i'm gonnacontinue that all the way down into i have a lot of five rows on each side ofmy roof to finish off the roof were gonna do a zigzag right down thecenter to decorate the front of the house are gonna add one door and threelittle windows around it and then to finish off the front of the house werejust going to add a icicles because
it's cold outside. for the side of housewere gonna pipe a long windows some more zigzag and some more icicles and just one more detail gingerbread houses are classic staple ofthe holiday season you can really have a lot of fun with it you can have a partywhere everyone decorate their own gingerbread house or at my sister'soffice they actually have a gingerbread decorating contest and they go all outand do crazy things they have like back yards with swing sets and cars withgarages and they just do all sorts of crazy things if you've ever done a crazygingerbread house please tell you about it in the comments below and like thisvideo and be sure to subscribe to our
