hi everyone i'm daniela and as you've already seen in the intro, today i'm going to be making these watercolor pillowcases. these are super easy to make, they are the perfect project for beginners, but if you don't have a sewing machine or don't really want to sew anything of course you can always use hot glue it will work just as fine so don't worry i didn't have any fabric paint or fabric medium so i just used regular acrylics, but it should be fine as long as you just handwash these there's no problem at all, i guess that's everything don't forget that the supplies and measurements are in the description box bellow and lets get started. since well be making an envelope pillowcase start by cutting 3 pieces of white fabric one with 45 x 45 cm and the other two with 45 x 34 cm and 45x25 cm

i'm going to be painting directly onto the fabric so i protected my table using a piece of plastic. wet the bigger piece of fabric and wring itout, place it on the table smoothing out any air bubbles or wrincles, next thin your paints a little with water and mix it use a piece of extra fabric to test the color, once the fabric is dry the colors will fade a bit, so make sure to make them a little darker that what you want the final result to be, once you're happy with it go ahead and start painting on the actual pillowcase, i found it easier to start on one of the corners with lightcircular brushstrokes, use water to help blend the colors and smudge them this depends onwhat type of look you want to archive but

i didn't want my colors to blend togetherso i left a white space between them let the fabric dry over night like this on thetable. and once its dry you can start putting thepillowcase toguether start by creating a seam on the longer side of both smaller fabric pieces, these are going to be the back of the pillowcase lay down the painted fabric with the rightside facing up, then place the smaller 45x25 cm piece on top right side down and place the medium 45x35 cm piece on top of that right sides also down. pin the pieces in place and sew all around the square, once that is done turn it right side out and you have a pillowcase!stuff your pillow inside and that's it. thank you so much for watching, i was really surprisedhow easy these were to make, so if you are
