KITCHEN BACKSPLASH IDEAS TUMBLED MARBLE

KITCHEN BACKSPLASH IDEAS TUMBLED MARBLE

hey guys! welcome to wellington street in orangeville's historic downtown. now what i have to show you today is an incredible one-of-a-kind home here in orangeville. it's known as the king house and it is a very large semi-detached home. location wise you are right in the thick of things. you can walk mere moments to all the great shopping, all the great

restaurants that orangeville has to offer. we have great festivals year round and there's even a great farmers market. so this home is known as the king house built by charles and thomas king it was built in 1889 and then it was divided into two homes in 1923. what i'm showing you today is 16 wellington street, which is one half of the king house. all you

architecture buffs out there will realize that this is a second empire house. second empire is an architectural style derived from france and orangeville only has a very small amount of second empire homes so this house really stands out as being very unique. not to mention look at the size of the home, it is three storeys of finished

space it has very distinct brick turrets going up the front of the house. there's also beautiful iron cresting up by the roofline. it has that distinct mansard roof meaning the roofline comes down to the front of the house a little bit. it also features dormer windows up on the third floor. can you tell i'm really excited about this house. hey! just

because it's old it doesn't mean it doesn't have all the modern conveniences. inside there's beautiful hardwood floors, there's pot lights, the windows have been replaced, the system's have all been updated, the kitchens been redone. so the shell may be old but the insides are much newer. alright let's go take a little look around. coming into the

fenced back yard you see this little deck on the side that's accessed from the dining room. coming around to the back there's a pergola covered patio with access from the kitchen in the corner this is handy shed for storage and a really decent sized yard. alright it's time to go inside. let's go check it out!

alright, walking through the front door all you see right off the bat is just how beautifully formal this space is. coming through the front hallway you can see this majestic staircase this beautiful staircase goes all the way up to the third floor. at the end of the hallway you see it opens up into this amazing formal dining room.

gorgeous hardwood floors, pot lights, chandelier and a french door over to the side patio. alright turning the corner to this formal living room and the focal point this beautiful bay window here. now this bay window is echoed on the second floor as well. alright going to the rear of the main floor it opens to this beautiful eat-in kitchen. we have

stainless steel appliances, more pot lights, lots of cupboard space and of course this table for less formal dining. here's another french door to the back garden this walks out to that rear patio. alright tucked away in the corner of this kitchen is this secondary staircase up to the second floor. alright why don't we head up to the second floor now.

the first thing you notice when you come to the second floor is how big this landing is and i really like this hardwood floor at the end of the hallway. there's this four-piece bathroom and that's accompanied by two other bedrooms. the one in the front is such a great size, third one's a bit smaller and it's perfect for an office. alright, now

we're going up to the third floor which is my favorite floor in the house. this third floor is dedicated 100% to the master suite you can see there's a formal area for sleeping and then a great little reading room on the side, a big giant mirrored closet. but the good news is you don't have to put all your clothes in that closet because there's a

dressing room. yes this room would make a perfect dressing room! it separates the sleeping area from the ensuite bathroom. speaking of which is a 4-piece ensuite bathroom. the dressing room features a lantern which is essentially an architectural skylight it's a great way of getting lots of light into a room that wouldn't have windows otherwise. my

favourite thing on the third floor has to be this amazing trim work right here. every house should have something like this, it's too cool! another amazing element is amazing iron cresting on the outside of the house. alright guys i hope you really enjoy what you've seen here on this video and you probably want to come see in person as soon as possible, this

is a one-off house, so all you have to do is call royal lepage at 519-941-5151 to get your showing. it's going to blow you away downtown orangeville is a great place to live. totally
